The customized ventilation and two station set up at our Rice Lake studio lends
itself well to personalized teaching. Below are workshop options, course length, and cost.
We provide all the materials and tools required for this instruction. If you are currently
flameworking we do ask that you bring your own didymium glasses, any materials you are
specifically wanting to work with, and any tools you can't work without.
Everything else is provided!
Andy also provides course follow up via email or phone in case you get back to your studio
and have any questions.

Beginning Flameworking

This introductory course will take you through the fundamentals of flameworking;
including safety, materials, resources, beginning technique, and equipment information.
Course runs approximately 2-3 hours long and costs $100 per person.

Marble Making


This course is designed assuming the student has some flameworking experience.
Course includes intruction of multiple marble making techniques including, but
not limited to; honeycomb, reticello, implosion, and wig wag patterns.
Course runs approximately 6 hours long and costs $350 per person.

Advanced Customized Courses


This course is customized by the student based on specific learning interests.
The student predetermines course interests, including, but no limited to the following;
goblets, marbles, pendants, vessels, and dishes.
Course runs approximately 6 hours long and costs $350 per person.
